Psychotherapy · Clinical Hypnosis · Coaching

What if someone was seeing you as you truly are?

I don't start from what's wrong with you. I start from what's already working, and what's getting in the way of it showing up everywhere else in your life.

I'm trained in solution-oriented, strategic therapy. I learnt from students of Erickson and believe in this approach because it works from the premise that we are not broken or lost in our past experiences. My therapy is brief, collaborative, focused on your strengths and your future rather than an excavation of your past. I combine clinical hypnosis so that you gain access to the parts of your mind that are not directed by conscious thinking, where the real stuck-ness lives.

Sofia Woloschin

Much of what keeps us stuck is misdirected effort — exhausting ourselves trying to change things we can't: other people, past events, how things should have gone. The things we actually can change are quieter: how we see a situation, what we tell ourselves about it, how we choose to respond.

Not broken, just stuck · Strengths, not deficits · Brief, not endless · Change, not coping

My story

Why this work

My goal is simple: to help you let go of the beliefs that no longer serve you, so you can live life on your own terms.

Most of what keeps people stuck isn't a lack of insight. It's the quiet beliefs running underneath — about what you're allowed to want, who you're supposed to be, what a good life is meant to look like. Beliefs that were true once, or true for someone else, and never got questioned.

I know this from the inside. Eight years of psychoanalysis gave me plenty of insight and not much actual change. What changed things was learning how to let go of what wasn't mine to carry — through solution-focused therapy, clinical hypnosis, and strategic work that works with how you're actually built, not against it.

That's what I help you do too: find the belief that's quietly running the show, loosen its grip, and get back the life — and the leadership, if that's part of your story — that's actually yours.

Thinking behind the practice

Growth doesn't move in straight lines

Why revisiting an old issue is a sign the work is going well, not a sign it failed.

Self-respect is not arrogance. It's air.

What self-criticism actually costs you, and why self-respect isn't the same as arrogance.

What a restructure actually asks of you

It's rarely just logistics. Here's the deeper question most restructures are really asking.
